Kaelie started her piano studies early on in Music For Young Children, and later studied piano under pianist Glenn Paul. She began playing guitar at age 13 and soon after took an interest in playing the drums. Kaelie has been performing in musicals since the age of 12 and later taught vocals in musical productions for young children.
Kaelie went on to teach vocals and beginners music in elementary schools as part of a music credit. Kaelie also performed for four years with a competitive choir.
Now married, Kaelie has been living in Calgary, Alberta for the past 4 years. Soon after having her first child, Kaelie took her 14 years of playing and performing experience and began teaching private piano and vocal lessons from her home. She soon realized that teaching music was her calling.
At home Kaelie loves to witness her daughters joyfully dancing, clapping and singing along to the wonderful program that is Kindermusik and is excited to share this joy with other families.
Kaelie’s classes are enjoyable for the whole family. Parents and children a like are encouraged to explore their creative side as she engages them in a musical experience that provides learning, laughter and a bond between parent and child that will last a life time.
Kaelie strives to inspire in her students the same passion and fulfillment she feels through the expression of music.
Stephanie has had a passion for teaching children as long as she can remember. After completing her Bachelor of Psychology in 2006, she pursued another Bachelors Degree in Education, graduating from the University of Alberta in 2008. After a few years of teaching in the traditional school system, Stephanie realized that a teaching career was not what she was destined to do. She pursued a certification in yoga and spent a lot of time traveling the world!
Although she is not formally trained in music, she has always loved to sing, and music was a big part of her early life. Her mother had to return to work shortly after Stephanie was born, yet luckily, from 4 months old, through to age 3, she was cared for by a close family friend who was a musician. She spent her days with him singing, dancing, exploring instruments and even traveling to school classrooms where he taught music to young children. One of her fondest early memories is singing on stage with him when she was 7 years old.
Fast forward many years to when Stephanie discovered Kindermusik with her daughter Lillian. Watching her daughter flourish in the Kindermusik classroom and herself falling in love with the program, Stephanie knew immediately that she had to pursue the path to becoming a Kindermusik Educator. Through her journey, she has recently set a goal to learn to play the piano!
Stephanie is committed to providing the families in her classroom a joyful and enriching musical experience. She is excited to share her passion for child development and engage even the youngest learners through song and dance!
Tierney has been involved in music since she was 7 yrs old when she asked her parents if she could take harp lessons. This soon led to piano lessons and opened the doors to the wonderful world of classical music.
She continued with studying the harp and the piano for the next 9 years.
During High school she took part many musical productions, As well as performing in the traveling theater group Talespinners, bringing musical productions to elementary and high schools around Southern Alberta.
After High school she planned and developed a musical storytelling program to be performed in seniors homes throughout Southern Alberta.
Most recently she has had the opportunity to take her love of music to the island of Kiribati where she saw first hand how music can overcome cultural and even language barriers to bring people together.
Tierney is very excited to be able to share her love of music with families through Kindermusik. She truly believes that music can greatly enrich lives and can bring joy and laughter to everyone.

Callie and Jackson LOVE going to kindermusik! It’s a good time for all of us to bond and the kids learn so much about sounds, songs, interacting in a group setting and many other things!
I highly recommend going to a kindermusik class with your little ones and seeing how fun and educational they are.
Kaelie is one of the nicest, sweetest people I’ve ever met. Her classes are always well prepared, fun and knowledgeable. She also puts on special events like Halloween and Christmas parties with fun activities and prizes which everyone really loves
