Kindermusik by Kaelie School Year fees cover 35 weekly lessons per year and 8 sets of Kindermusik @Home materials and all are averaged and paid over 10 months (Sept – June). This means that some months there will be two lessons and some months there will be four, but the fees are averaged over the 10 months to make equal monthly payments.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: First month’s fees are required at the time of registration. Fees thereafter will be processed using your preferred method (credit card, debit card, cheques or cash) either on the first day of class if you registered early, or on the same day you registered, if you registered late.
NFS : Cheques that bounce will incur a 45$ charge to your account.
ENROLLMENT POLICY: Payment MUST be received before enrollment can be confirmed. A confirmation notice will follow receipt of registration. Fees and materials are non-refundable.
I hereby authorize Kindermusik by Kaelie to charge tuition payments on the 1st of each month, or, on the same day I registered if joining part way through the year.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY: We understand that life happens and circumstance may require your withdrawal from our program. We ask you provide 30 days written notice (via email) to avoid incurring the next month’s tuition. If enrolment must be cancelled, any deposit paid is non-refundable. You are of course welcome to attend classes and will receive @Home units if applicable for the month. For any classes you are unable to attend, there is no cash value and they cannot be transferred to the enrollment of a sibling. You may, however, make them up prior to the end of your enrollment. Should you decide to withdraw for a period of time, your space cannot be held. In this case, you are better to keep your space and make up the classes you will be missing.
Full refunds will be issued for classes cancelled by Kindermusik by Kaelie.
Kindermusik by Kaelie reserves the right to change class times and days. These changes are due to the fact that we cannot guarantee enrollment. Every effort will be made to keep classes on the same day.
MAKE-UP CLASSES: Families enrolled in Kindermusik By Kaelie can schedule unlimited make-up classes for illness or travel as long as they are enrolled. We ask that at least 24hrs notice be given for missed classes via email or phone call. You may schedule a make-up class online by visiting http://kindermusikbykaelie.com/make-up-classes/. Please schedule your make-up class 24hrs before your desired class. These classes must be made up before the end of the session or the end of your registration whichever comes first. Make-ups may not be done in classes that are already full or in a class you are currently enrolled in. No cash value.
NO REFUND POLICY: Kindermusik by Kaelie adheres to a no refund policy.
PARTICIPATION/EXPECTATIONS IN CLASS: During class, the most important thing you can do for your child is to be an active and patient role model. It is not uncommon for a child to attend several classes before feeling comfortable in class. Don’t be discouraged – what a child is absorbing in class is often evidenced in the comfort of the home environment rather than in a certain level of participation in class. The understanding and consistency of the parent or caregiver in class and at home are key to facilitating musical learning and growth.
You and your child will enormously benefit from the Kindermusik experience, especially if you make active use of your At Home materials. Reinforcement and enjoyment of the Kindermusik materials at home during the week make all the difference in a child’s comfort and security in the classroom.
We love for parents to visit before class during Gathering Time or after class, but not during class time, please! When you are an active, focused, enthusiastic participant in the class activities, your child will model your actions and focus more fully too.
Many parents tell us that they see a completely different child at home as they share Kindermusik activities there. It’s okay if your child is hesitant in the group environment. If your child cannot focus on the present activity – don’t worry, but do actively attempt to help them refocus or quietly engage them in participating in their own way.
WHEN TO ARRIVE: Plan to arrive between 5-10 minutes early for class. Arriving a little before class provides time for your child to settle in to the musical environment as they prepare to enjoy exploring instruments, reading books, or listening to music. (Punctuality is always appreciated!)
WHAT TO BRING: As a courtesy to others, toys, juice cups, and pacifiers should be kept out of sight, and snacks should be finished prior to class. Be sure to dress comfortably—we will be moving on the floor to lots of fun activities. If you are unable to set your cell phone to vibrate mode or turn it off, please take calls outside the classroom, keeping your child with you.
CLASS SIZE: Class size is normally between 5 and 12 children but will be determined based on the needs of individual children in the class. Classes will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. We recommend you register early to avoid disappointment.
SICK CHILDREN: If your child has a fever, please wait until he/she is fever-free for 24 hours before returning to class. If your child has suffered a stomach bug or has thrown up within the last 24 hours please keep them at home. If your child has a severe cough, thick nasal discharge, rash or conjunctivitis please let them rest at home. Click here to schedule a make-up class.
ALLERGIES: In recognition of that some children and adults have allergies; we request that no peanut products enter the studio and that no strong perfume or after-shave be worn to the studio.
SNOW DAYS: There will be no classes if the school boards cancel school. If only the buses are cancelled, Kindermusik classes will run. Listen to the announcements on your local radio station or wait for your teacher to contact you to confirm any cancellations on that day. We will also post this information on our Facebook Community Page.
MAKEUP CLASSES: We are happy to allow students who miss a class to make up that class – as long as 24 hours notice is given. Simply call in advance to schedule make-ups. Classes will be made up in the event of inclement weather or teacher illness. If the local school district is closed due to inclement weather, classes will be cancelled for that day unless I contact you otherwise. I will notify you of the scheduled make-up day. If there is snow delay, classes will proceed as scheduled.

Callie and Jackson LOVE going to kindermusik! It’s a good time for all of us to bond and the kids learn so much about sounds, songs, interacting in a group setting and many other things!
I highly recommend going to a kindermusik class with your little ones and seeing how fun and educational they are.
Kaelie is one of the nicest, sweetest people I’ve ever met. Her classes are always well prepared, fun and knowledgeable. She makes every child and parent feel comfortable during every class and is very encouraging and respectful. She also puts on special events like Halloween and Christmas parties with fun activities and prizes which everyone really loves
