Where are classes held?
When do you hold classes?
Our class schedule changes to meet the needs and demands of our Kindermuik families. For the most current class schedule please visit our website at kindermusikbykaelie.com/schedule
Do you offer evening or weekend classes?
Do I have to stay in the class with my child?
Our Foundations, Level 1 and Level 2 classes are parented. Meaning parents or caregivers attend and participate with the child. Our Level 3, 4 and 5 classes are not parented, except for the last 10 minutes where parents are invited back into the classroom for a sharing time.
Parents are an important part of our Kindermusik process. After all, you are your child’s number 1 teacher!
Can both parents attend?
Absolutely! No matter what Level we welcome moms ,dads and grandparents too. There is no better way to forge lasting memories and strengthen your bond with a child than in a Kindermusik class. Our Saturday classes in particular are filled with dads spending one on one time with their children after a busy week at work.
When do classes start/end?
Can I enroll part way through the year?
How many children are there in a class?
What if I miss a class?
Can I try a class first before committing?
Yes. We’d love to have you and your child attend an introductory class. Once you try a class you will instantly see why Kindermusik is a smart investment for your child. Kindermusik classes are about having fun and making new friends, all while learning and developing important skills: language & literacy, social & emotional, cognitive, physically and musical, that will last a lifetime. Come and see for yourself!
What is the commitment length after we enroll?
It can take a child anywhere from 3 – 6 months (or more depending on the child), for a child to really reap the benefits of our amazing music and movement program. That is why, the longer your child reminds in the program – the better! We have a minimum 3 months commitment from your first class. This gives your child a chance to familiarize themselves with us, their peers and our class routines, giving them a better chance to anticipate transitions, make meaningful friendships, and really become part of our Kindermusik family! We want you to walk away with lasting relationships, and to do this you’ll need to stick around long enough to get to know us.
What is the investment?
Unlike other programs, our Kindermusik program is designed with family and community in mind. We strive to create the village you’ve been searching for: one of encouragement, support, warmth and friendship. Membership in our program includes so much more than just our weekly classes.

- Monthly digital home materials to continue the musical learning at home and on the go

- Guaranteed one-on-one time with your child
- Helpful resources, tips and communication in and our of class
- Priority access to additional classes, events, summer camps and playdates

We’ve broken down our yearly class cost over 10 months for easy and affordable payments of $80/month. (Our Level 5 class runs the full 60 minutes and costs $90/month with a one time payment for physical home materials.)
What if we have to withdraw from the program?
Though we would be delighted to have you for the entire session so you can really get your bang for buck and see the real change Kindermusik can make on your child as a whole, we know that life happens and there are some things beyond our control. If you simply must bid us farewell, we ask for 30 days written notice (emailed to info@kindermusikbykaelie.com).
Should I put my child in private piano classes or Kindermusik?
This really depends on your child, but almost always we would recommend Kindermusik. Young children are not meant to sit still for long periods. They need to move, for it is through movement that they learn. Your child would be best in a class where his creativity is encouraged, and his energy paired with movement activities that help him learn. He’ll learn basic music notation, terminology and concepts in a stimulating way, where his entire body and brain and engaged. He’ll also get to practice those skills needed for school; social expectations and interaction, sharing, team work (we do lots of ensemble work, as well as many games and choreographed dances). Plus, activities to help him practice self control, and self expression, to help him cope with and regulate his emotions.
